Vaccination Centers are now opening up and accepting volunteers

Incentives and Rewards for Volunteering

Cities and states are now preparing to open up vaccination centers in populous areas, and are allowing residents over the age of 18 to volunteer, provided they are not in a high risk category. There are rewards and incentives for volunteering, if you are a student, you can classify this as community service, which will fill up many school's requirements to graduate. This frees up more time for students to work on their field of study in life, especially during the lockdown we all suffer from, where going out is dangerous and can lead to being infected and spreading it to more high risk category people. The lockdown had been making it harder for many students to get their required community service to graduate, so this opportunity is a good chance to get immunized and fulfill their graduation requirements at the same time.

On top of community service for students, there is the chance of receiving a vaccination for all volunteers if they show a level of dedication and commitment, and sometimes the centers will mix new batches of vaccines just for the volunteers, but will mainly use extra ones from the day. Most centers will use leftover vaccines from the day, since a suprising number of people still refuse to get it, and when there is a 6 hour time limit on them, at least for Moderna's vaccine, they use them on volunteers as well to not let them go to waste, and also as a reward for the volunteers putting their health and potentially lives at risk for it, but thats unlikely as the selection for volunteers only take low rosk category people, so even if a volunteer were to catch COVID somehow, it will most likely be a mild case, if not asymptomatic. You can do your own research and see if you would be able to volunteer at LAWorks.com

The vaccines are only usable within 6 hours of being mixed, so that's why we give the extra ones out to the longer volunteers, to prevent them from going to complete waste.
